Sampras's Actual Racquet from Late Career

*Specific Time Used: No idea. He definitely played with it and the cut gut strings are still in it.

*General Description (including any cosmetic blemishes): Has a few knicks, but otherwise in good shape. I got it from a guy who got it from a guy who worked for the stringer, reportedly. Sampras dropped it off to be restrung but never actually had it strung as he decided to stop playing, or that was the story I was told. From what I can tell, judging from the lead tape (which has a number printed on it (04603)) I'm confident it was actually one of his sticks.

I have it on good authority that the code on the lead tape is a Bosworth designation and a good indication that this was, in fact, a tournament-used Sampras racquet. I spoke to someone from Bosworth Tennis this morning and he is going to look it up and get back to me. I'm hoping to be able to include an e-mail from Bosworth as proof of authentication.

Strung with gut that's been cut. From the writing I can read, it says "Babolat Double Line."
